Key Bank

The Landscape Architecture for the new Key Bank building embraces the site location at the gateway to Bellingham's downtown district while respecting the bank's formal facade. A small entry plaza detailed with granite paving and a custom stone bench greet patrons and passerbys alike. A pocket park with undulating berms punctuated with tree groves and boulder outcroppings create a public green space along the busy street. The plant pallet was carefully selected to provide year-round interest in a challenging urban setting.
