Hunts Point Residence

The design for this Hunts Point landscape emphasizes uninterrupted access and views of Lake Washington. The client's main objective was to have a space which looked like it had been there forever, while utilizing what was in the existing landscape. The Philbin Group designed a space that flows with a surfeit of natural beauty. A series of manipulations in the landscape blur all boundaries between the site and the horizon, yielding a powerful sense of place. The Philbin Group responded to the clients' wishes by designing a garden that embraces the architecture of the house with pure, yet functional spaces.
